It is time for my Memorable Book letter E. My friend Ashley over at Thrifty Bibliophile created the meme Throwback Thursday- Memorable Book That Starts With the Letter…Again, I don’t think I will post these on Thursdays but, I am doing them anyway. I have fun with these even though some of these I can’t remember much besides the name lol.
I don’t care what anyone says the Twilight saga was a phenomenon from the books to the movies. They were everywhere and I 100% was a part of the fandom and before you ask I was #TEAMEDWARD. I first got book one from a friend who let me borrow it after I saw the Twilight movie. I watched it on DVD with my friend on our bus and I was so into it. So, I read the book and bought the rest on Amazon. I read them in a month. I remember my family thinking I was crazy for being able to read so fast lol. I remember having an internal battle with Eclipse because of the love triangle and this was where my hatred began for them but I still love the books. I am thinking of doing a reread maybe next year.
Eclipse (Twilight #3) by Stephenie Meyer
As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob – knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?
Final Thoughts on Book
The love triangle was the heat of my anger lol but I won’t act like I didn’t enjoy the team Edward vs team Jacob wars. One of my favorite things about these books is how different the main issue was in each. In Eclipse, Bella and co. were dealing with Victoria and a threat of newborn vampires in Seattle plus the possibility of the Volturi still breathing down their necks. I actually remember really liking all the characters but it was a corny story lol. This was a great book series.
