Page Habit Unboxing

Today is such a fun post because for the first time I am doing an unboxing. This is my first time ever get a book box so I was so excited to receive one. I truly wasn’t sure what to expect and I was nervous if I would like the book I received or not. My my my I was not disappointed.

If you like what you see then you must check out PageHabit.com because their boxes are really fun and exciting to get.

What Should You Expect

  • Annotated Books!!! The author’s of the book of the month specially annotate the books with little notes and tidbits which I find so cute and exciting.
  • They have 8 different genres of the monthly box (Literary Fiction, Mystery, Fantasy, Young Adult Fiction, Romance, Horror, Historical Fiction, and Science Fiction.) Plus they also have 3 genres of quarterly boxes (Literary Fiction, Young Adult Fiction, and Cookbook.)
  • Part of the proceeds of their boxes gets donated to help promote children’s literacy! This month was Liberia.
  • The bookish items aren’t the greatest but they are cute and I feel like over time they will get better. So, yes you do get bookish items.
  • Page Habit is ALWAYS having giveaways!!! I have won two already. They are such awesome ones sometimes you get a free box, sometimes money towards books, and more it is always changing. Plus they have a lot of winners, not just one.

The Unboxing

Now onto the best part…the unboxing!!!! This month I got the November fantasy box.

The book is The City of Brass by S. A. Chakraborty. It’s a fantasy/historical fiction and the first book in an epic fantasy trilogy set in 18th century Middle East. I also got a free book from winning the Thanksgiving contest the Infinite Ground Novel by Martin MacInnes. It’s a fiction/mystery fantasy debut novel of “modern alienation, of the sinister beauty of the human body and of the enduring splendor of the natural world.”

Find them on Goodreads City of Brass / Infinite Ground

As well as getting an annotated book the author writes a letter which is really nice and sweet.

So, this month we got two bookmarks. One was a magnifying glass shaped one and it works. The other one is a quote. Then we got a cute lightbox keychain. I made mine say school suck5 lol (btw school is great everyone should go & feel grateful if you do it just was funny for me and my sister.) We got a short story called The Magician and The Maid and other stories. It looks really good and I can’t wait to see it.
