My Favorite TV Shows

Today I will be talking about the shows I love. I am a huge movie & TV buff so I watch a lot of both but, I also get in my daily activity lol. I have 12 shows that I watch faithfully when they come out 5 are finished but the rest are still going. Besides number one these aren’t in order of favorites. I ordered it based on ratings. So 5 stars first, 4 stars next, then lastly 3 stars. So here we go 🙂

1. Criminal Minds

This is my favorite show overall. It’s 12 seasons deep and it’s coming out with a 13th. Criminal Minds is an American police procedural crime drama television series. It’s one of the best shows created and I HIGHLY recommend this show. It can be highly graphic and deals with many cases that can trigger some feelings. It gets 5*****.

2. Stranger Things

From episode one, I was hooked on this show and cast. It has 2 seasons (season 2 comes out on Halloween) and they are working on the third season. Stranger Things is an American science fiction-horror Netflix television series. I also highly recommend this show because it is mysterious and pays homage to the 80s. It gets 5*****.

3. Gotham

I am a huge DC/Batman fan so I jumped when I saw this show. Gotham is an American crime drama television series. It deals with the origin story of James Gordon, Batman, and all his villainous foes. If you love DC and Batman I think you will love this show it’s equal parts action and comedy. It gets 5*****.

4. How to Get Away With Murder

Viola Davis is my favorite actress ever anything she is in is golden. How to Get Away with Murder is an American drama television series. This show has so many twists and shocks that leave me SHOOK. Every season starts with a major crime that the whole season leads up while other cases/mysteries are happening simultaneously. It gets 5*****.

5. ZOO

This show is INSANE. Zoo is an American drama television series based on the 2012 novel of the same name by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge. Can you imagine what life would be like if animals all over the world started running the planet??? Just watch this show to see what it would be like. It gets 5*****.

6. Beauty & the Beast

I feel like by now you all know my love for BATB so this shouldn’t be a surprise. Beauty & the Beast is an American television series, very loosely inspired by the 1987 CBS series of the same name. It’s like a modern day retelling like Beastly was. There is action, comedy, romance, and great characters. It even made me cry once. It gets 5*****.

7. Nikita

I stumbled upon this show one day and I just became hooked. Nikita is an American crime/drama television series. The series focuses on a woman who escaped from a secret government-funded organization known as “Division” and, after a three-year hiding period, is back to bring down the organization. JUST WATCH IT. It gets 5*****.

8. A Series of Unfortunate Events

I loved the movie and I knew I would love the show. A Series of Unfortunate Events is a series of thirteen children’s novels by Lemony Snicket, the pen name of American author Daniel Handler. The books follow the turbulent lives of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire.  The cast is perfect and it’s such a funny great show. It gets 5*****.

9. Secret Life of the American Teenager

This show is so dramatic I loved it lol. The Secret Life of the American Teenager is an American teen drama television series. I really loved how it definitely hit some good points that teens go through. I also love a show that I can scream at from all the drama happening hoping I can change what’s about to happen lol. It gets 4****.

10. Glee

This show never failed to make me laugh, smile, cry, scream, etc. Glee is an American musical comedy-drama television series. I love the music and some of the characters were truly vocalists. They did great renditions to some amazing songs and I love so many characters. Sam & Mercedes were the Glee couple we deserved. It get’s 4****.

11. Pretty Little Liars

This show is truly dramatic lol. Pretty Little Liars is an American teen drama mystery thriller television series, loosely based on the popular book series of the same name written by Sara Shepard. So many times I was like why did they do that? Why wouldn’t they take a weapon? WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING? It get’s 4****.

12. Shadowhunters

The acting is cringy a lot but I can’t help but love this show lol. Shadowhunters is an American supernatural drama television series, loosely based on the series The Mortal Instruments written by Cassandra Clare. It’s not a great adaption of the books but I don’t care it’s enjoyable, funny, and a guilty pleasure. It get’s 3***.

So, have you see any of these shows? Are they your favorites or what are your thoughts on them? What are your favorite shows to watch? I hope you enjoyed this post for today. See you guys next time.

I love that you love Nikita, hardly anyone I know knows that show, might need to revisit that some time. I like her in Designated Survivor right now!
Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, all the Chicago shows are a couple of other favs of mine. Oh and Blindspot (season 3 started last week!)
And really like the new shows The Brave, The Good Doctor, Wisdom of the Crowd, and The Gifted
I might be a bit addicted to tv shows haha

  3. Shadowhunters, PLL and Stranger Things are all “must watch” in our house too. We love Gotham as well, but we are very behind so need to spend a weekend marathoning and catch up!

  4. Ohhh you got a lot of series I haven’t seen yet, but they all sound really good!
    My current favorites are;
    – Arrow
    – the Flash
    – Modern Family
    – Shooter
    – Scorpion

I will definitely check out Stranger Things, it sounds so good!

I’m a big big big, huuuuge shadowhunter fangirl at heart, but the tv series isn’t for me I guess. I keep trying but always end up not really caring about it. For me, the movie was way better – I’m one of the few who thinks so I guess buwhaha. Don’t know what it is, but I just can’t fall in love with the tv series despite me being a shadowhunter-fangirl for years now.

    1. I have a love hate with the books so idc for the books or the show or the movie they’re all ok for me it’s more like a guilty pleasure for me lol. I watch the movie and show as if they’re not related to the books and the books I just accept that I won’t ever LOVE them

  5. Really like Shadowhunters but I have only read the first book in the series so I can´t compare if it´s good or not. Glee I have lost along the way but I will try to find where I was and continue on it later. Same goes for Beauty and the Beast, really liked it when it was on but I forgot it or took a break and never continued on it so I will have to do that to later when all the other shows I watch right now take a break soon! 😛

  7. My girlfriend is constantly watching Criminal Minds. So obsessed with that show, haha. I’ve been forced to watch some episodes. I do enjoy it. Think we are on season 6 or 7. The last episode I watched was so sad though! Very well made.
