Soundtrack to My Life Book Tag

sountrackbooktag-10

Hello, my pretties! Today I’m back to tackle another tag that I clearly wasn’t tagged in lol. The tag I’m working with today is the Soundtrack to My Life Book Tag. No need for any more senseless chatter so, let’s get to my picks for this tag.

Opening Credits: Favorite Childhood book

There was one book that I all but destroyed from reading it so much when I was a child and it was Camy Baker’s Love You Like A Sister. I equally adored and wore out all my Junie B. Jones books because I mean come on if you didn’t read those what were you doing in life.

Waking up: A book that got you out of a reading slump

I don’t really get into a reading slump I just get super busy and don’t have time to read. Once I was so busy I almost didn’t get to read for a whole *Brace yourself* YEAR!!!!!! I know my whole life was upside down but then I finally had time to finish Interview With A Vampire and all was right in the world again.

School: A book you had to read for school that you ended up loving

The Great Gatsby has become one of my all-time favorite stand-alone books. I had to read it for my junior English class and I think the whole class fell in love. The Crucible was another one in my junior class. The Outsiders was the one I fell in love with in my 8th-grade English class and Angela’s Ashes was one I fell for in my senior English class.

Falling In Love: An author you love so much you want to read all of their books

If you know me and have been following you know by now the answer is Victoria Schwab, Rick Riordan, Melina Marchetta, Renée Ahdieh, and Michelle Hodkin.

Fight: Book with the best action sequences

Rick Riordan books, A Conjuring of Light, Our Dark Duet, Vicious, The Retribution of Mara Dyer, & The Lumatere Chronicles have great action scenes that I always pictured so vividly.

Break up: A book or series you didn’t finish and do not intend to finish

I don’t DNF many books I only did it to The Scarlet Letter, Dryland, and The Writer’s Bloom. I tend to like to finish things unless it truly sucks.

Hanging With Friends: Book you think everyone else should read

A Darker Shade of Magic Trilogy, The Wrath & The Dawn Duology, and The Lumatere Chronicles Trilogy. Read them if you haven’t just do it. If you don’t like them you’re probably not human. I’m kidding…or am I?

Breakdown: Book that seriously affected you/had you crying your eyes out

I haven’t cried to a book in a long time. I always get sad when a book is over my heart gets heavy and I truly become emotional but no heavy tears. But, miss Schwab actually took my heart out with the ending of Our Dark Duet. I also cried in A Tea Cup Full of Roses and Heaven is For Real.

Roadtrip: You favorite series (more than 3 books)

So, since I can’t say trilogies that cancels out my all time favorites so I will say the ones that come after those lol. The Percy Jackson Series, The Heroes of Olympus Series, and The Tiger’s Curse Series.

Flashback: Your favorite book from 5 years ago

Before The Wrath & The Dawn, The Lumatere Chronicles, and A Darker Shade of Magic stole my heart my number one was Tiger’s Curse.

Getting Back Together: What book can you not stop rereading

I don’t reread because I have too many books to read lol. I just will re-skim if I am feeling nostalgic. So, the answer is all my books.

Wedding: A book that is really special to you

Another cliches answer but, all my books lol. They all have a piece of them inside me. They all shape and change me in some way even if it’s minor. I love books and all they bring me.

Moment of Triumph: Longest book you’ve ever read

I am not sure exactly but I know Insomnia, Breaking Dawn, and A Conjuring of Light are some of my longest!

Death Scene: Book or series you wish had ended differently

I can’t say Our Dark Duet (even though I would) because I already said it in this tag but I will say Allegiant because I miss Tris and Four deserved to still have his love 😦

Funeral: Book with the best or worst epilogue

My top favorite books had the best endings but since I said them I’ll mention some of my other favorites. Crooked Kingdom, The Serpent’s Shadow, and The Night Circus had great ones too.

End Credits: Who do you tag?

ALL OF MY LOVELY PRETTIES. I hope you all take a crack at this because it was fun so enjoy!!!
