A couple Fridays ago, I was sitting at my desk at work finalizing my packing list for a weekend trip my husband and I were taking with my sisters, their husbands and kids. My phone buzzed with a text message. It was an alert from my library telling me that I had some books in. Happy Dance!
I swung by the library after work, after the obligatory chit-chat with the librarians, one of the gals headed back into the secret back room to grab my books. She brought out a stack . . . and then went back to get another stack. I stood there, in shock, as they scanned TWELVE books and loaded them up in bags for me.
I knew when I headed up to library that I would have a fairly big pile. I keep and eye on my hold list and do a bit of creative shuffling (they have a suspend feature that I can throw on before it is marked ‘In Transit’). This was a bit more than I was expecting.
When I got home I stacked them in the designated library book spot, I made some tea and took a look the pile and thought:
I am linking up this post over at Quirky Bookworm. Head over and see what is ruffling Jessica and the rest gangs feathers.
