Earlier this week I finished listen to the second season on The Black Tapes Podcast and I looked desperately around for someone to talk to about it.
For those of you not in the know, it is serialized drama set up to be a NPR-style news show. The show was supposed to be about people with interesting jobs when Regan, our host, came across a man who is using inheritance and most of his adult life to disprove the paranormal. He has a collection of black VHS cases where he keeps information about cases yet to be solved. Yep, that is where the name of the podcast comes into play.
The stories very quickly morph to creepy; with shadow people, cults, ghosts with upside down faces and a musical score that may or may not kill you after you listen to.
This is the kind of thing I live for.
