Another readathon in the books! (Ha, in the books, get it!)
I had big plans Friday evening about hitting my 24 hour goal! and updating my blog! and tweeting! and doing the challenges! But then when it is time to roll, I do what I am suppose to do and read, and read, and listen, and read. The hell with everything else.
My wonderful husband is braving the cold to get me a chai so I can keep reading #24in48

I had a great stretch of read/listening Saturday. It helped that I was home by myself. Even after breaking for lunch and heading off for burgers and beers with my husband, I had just over 12 hours of reading done by the time I went to sleep that night.
My hubby is watching football and I am reading Bitch Planet. There is also boozy hot chocolate. #24in48

Sunday mornings there is a tradition in my house of coffee and CBS’s Sunday Morning. I have watched it on and off since I was a little girl and this morning was no exception. I finished up a comic and started another, and polished off an audiobook and started another.
Then I hit a wall. Hard.
I check my time — 18:08. Not so shabby, so I don’t feel so bad about vegging on the couch and watching Parks and Rec for the rest of the day.
Here’s what I read/listened to this weekend:
- Bitch Planet, Vol 1 // Kelly Sue DeConnick
- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo // Steig Larsson
- French Milk // Lucy Kinsley
- Displacement // Lucy Kinsley
- Angelmaker // Nick Harkaway
- Bull Mountain // Brian Panowich
Did you readathon this weekend? What did you read?
